How to arrive!
The Torre Modernista Abadal is located in the town of Avinyó, in Central Catalonia, in the Bages region. It is located in the center of the town, right behind the church. There is easy parking throughout the town centre. If you need it, click the following link and it is easily reached with the Google app.
The beginnings
In 1850 the Abadal family bought two houses, in Plaça Major d’Avinyó, from the Verdaguer family. In 1907, Antoni Abadal i Portella commissioned the construction of Torre Abadal from Alexandre Soler i March.
The summer house
The Abadal family is exiled from Catalonia due to the start of the civil war. During the years after the war, Torre Abadal will be the family summer residence.
The new heiress
Mònica Abadal and Argemí, not only inherited the family heritage but also a whole modernist ensemble. He is clear about his goals from the very beginning: he wants to take care of her, maintain and improve her.
A new stage begins
At a dinner with friends, the idea of a new project that restores the splendor of the Torre Abadal and opens it to the public emerges. It emerges as a space where you can live unique experiences.
